Today we drove from Kenora on the north side of Lake of the Woods Ontario to Mylie's Resort on the south side of Lake of the Woods - about 170 miles. Lake of the Woods is a very big lake.
Our plan is to stay here four nights. We bought our fishing licenses and would have gone out fishing this afternoon but it was too windy. So instead of eating fish we caught tonight we went out and had a very good steak dinner at a nearby resort.
Miley's is where my Dad went Fishing starting in about 1961. Dad's annual fishing trip was a very big deal. Miley's has very nice cabins to rent. But they also have a trailer which we decided to rent. It is quite new and very comfortable. I'm looking forward to fishing, relaxing and not driving for a few days!
